Platts, a leading supplier of commodities pricing data, challenged Barker DZP to build on their existing logo to celebrate their 100th year of business.
But as a technology-driven company, they were understandably concerned about being perceived as “old.”
The solution was in a simple, dynamic timeline graphic that points to the future and conveys continuing progress, while the typography of “100 YEARS” matches the forward-lean of the original logo.
