In 2009, Barker DZP created a new company dedicated to branded content.
To reinforce the limitless diversity of “content,” we deliberately chose the most generic name possible, “ACME,” The retro logo was developed to convey a sense of humor and irreverence. And to show that the company was dedicated to new trends, we created the motto “Since 2010″ (it was 2009).
After successfully serving brands such as P&G/Gillette’s Tag Body Spray and Def Jam Records, ACME was purchased by talent firm UTA, and merged with United Entertainment Group.
